It heats the water in a closed loop and is aimed at owners of commercial or light industrial buildings that already have a 480 V service.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe often suggest it with a radiant floor in mind. The outdoor sensor, supplied with the boiler, lets the Schneider Electric controller adjust water temperature to the weather, over a setpoint range of 50 °F to 200 °F. Solid-state relays (SCR) modulate it from 0 to 100%, on top of the relay stages, and the controller rotates its stages. Thermo 2000 points out that this modulation limits peak power, something many commercial building managers keep an eye on.
