In October, a few kilowatts are enough; in January, demand climbs. With six 4.5 kW steps, the boiler follows these changes closely instead of jumping abruptly from one large stage to the next. The supplied outdoor sensor lets the controller set the water temperature on one of three curves (MIN, STD, MAX), and warm weather shutdown rests it when heat is not needed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe controller also offers presets by distribution system, a backlit display, Boost mode, pump purge and a 24 V supply for the thermostat and accessories. Thermo 2000 lists two protection options: two 80 A breakers or a single 150 A breaker. The wire gauge is determined with the installation manual based on the option chosen. At 208 V, output is multiplied by 0.75.
