It is available in two sizes, 21 × 32 in and 16 × 28 in, for units wider than those of wall-mounted heat pumps.

Why a central heat pump must be raised

A central air conditioner only works in summer; a slab at ground level is enough for it. A central heat pump, on the other hand, heats the house all winter. Its outdoor unit defrosts regularly and releases water that has to drain under the unit. Set too low, it ends up in the snow, air circulates poorly and ice builds up. The stand keeps the unit clear, season after season.

Choosing the size

21 × 32 in

16 × 28 in

The size is chosen based on the outdoor unit’s footprint and weight, given in its manual. We confirm it with the exact model of your unit.

Installation tips

The stand sits on a stable, level base: slab, pavers or compacted gravel. On a membrane or fragile pavers, add plastic foot pads under each leg, and anti-vibration pads between the unit and the stand.
