The CB22 24,000 is not listed by ENERGY STAR, so it is not eligible for LogisVert. The CB25 24,000 qualifies for the highest LogisVert amount of any Zephyr wall unit.
The CB25 9,000 and 18,000 keep 100% of their rated heat at -15 °C: 9,000 and 18,000 BTU/h, per the Zephyr brochure and ENERGY STAR.Source: CB25 brochure BRO_2606, “Max at -15 °C” row; ENERGY STAR, AHRI 215414829 and 215414831.
Every current Zephyr wall unit, size by size, at the temperature you choose. Heat comes from the Zephyr brochures; the red mark shows the nominal size. At -30 °C, Zephyr says the CB25 and UB32 still heat, without publishing a capacity.
At -25 °C, the UB32 9,000 still gives 9,000 BTU/h, its full nominal cooling capacity. Same figure for the UB32 12,000 and 15,000.Source: UB32 brochure BRO_2606, “max at -25 °C” row.
COP says how many kWh of heat a heat pump delivers for 1 kWh of electricity, at a given temperature. SEER2 measures cooling efficiency over a whole season, in BTU removed per watt-hour of electricity. Compare the 12,000 BTU/h units, then play with the season.
COP per the Zephyr BRO_2606 brochures. Resistance heat turns all the electricity into heat (100%, US DOE), so a COP of 1.
Illustrative math: SEER2 is, by definition (DOE, Appendix M1), the heat removed over the season divided by the electricity used, in BTU per watt-hour. Cost at Hydro-Québec’s Rate D second-tier price (11.142¢/kWh since April 1, 2026), which applies if use exceeds the first tier (40 kWh per day, times the number of days in the period); below it, a kWh costs 7.065¢. Before taxes and access fees. Your home will have its own numbers.
All 18 Zephyr wall pairs listed by ENERGY STAR meet the “Most Efficient” criteria. ENERGY STAR lists them for the Canadian market only.Source: ENERGY STAR w7cv-9xjt, “meets_most_efficient_criteria” and “markets” fields, Oct. 8, 2026.

The CB22 and CB25 come in 115 V at 9,000 and 12,000 BTU/h: these are the DB22 and DB25. The UB32 and every 18,000 and 24,000 are 208/230 V. We check the circuit and the panel during the visit.
The 115 V versions carry the DB code (for example ZE-12DB25). On the Zephyr sheet they call for 20 A protection (MOP). We check the circuit during the visit.
Only one 115 V wall unit is eligible for LogisVert: the CB25 12,000 (DB25), AHRI 215414834, for $1,116 (9,300 BTU/h at -8 °C × $120 per 1,000).Source: Hydro-Québec, LogisVert tool, Oct. 6, 2026; ENERGY STAR AHRI 215414834.

In silent mode, the 208/230 V CB22 and CB25 9,000 and 12,000 go down to 28 dB(A) indoors (the 115 V CB25 12,000: 32); the UB32, to 29 dB(A).Source: BRO_2606 brochures, “indoor sound pressure” row.

Refrigerant is the fluid that carries the heat. The two R-454B series and the R-32 CB22 have a much lower GWP than the previous generation’s R-410A. In Canada, no GWP limit applies to residential heat pumps: R-410A remains allowed (SOR/2016-137, Schedule 1.1).

Composition per ASHRAE designations. The CB25 and UB32 use R-454B; the CB22, R-32; the Zephyr 18 and 23, R-410A.
R-454B’s GWP (470) is 77.5% lower than R-410A’s (2,090). R-32’s (675) is 67.7% lower.Source: EPA SNAP, March 19, 2026; AirGreen math (1 - 470/2,090).

To heat all winter, we recommend the CB25 or UB32, on R-454B, which run in heating mode down to -30 °C per Zephyr and are ENERGY STAR cold-climate certified. The UB32 is the most efficient, from 9,000 to 15,000 BTU/h; the CB25 goes up to 24,000 and comes in 115 V. The CB22, on R-32, heats down to -25 °C per Zephyr; we mostly advise it for cooling and shoulder-season heating.
Our old names for the CB25 (R-454B) and the CB22 (R-32): same units. Not to be confused with the Zephyr 23, a previous-generation R-410A unit.
No. LogisVert requires an outdoor unit of at least 12,000 BTU/h, even though the UB32 9,000 gives 13,000 BTU/h at -8.3 °C per Zephyr.
Yes, at 9,000 and 12,000 BTU/h: the CB22 (DB22) and CB25 (DB25). The UB32 and every 18,000 and 24,000 are 208/230 V. We check the circuit during the visit.
From $740 (CB22 18,000) to $2,640 (CB25 24,000), per our checks by AHRI number in Hydro-Québec’s tool. The math: heat at -8 °C, times $120 per 1,000 BTU/h for ENERGY STAR cold climate or $50 for standard, capped at the cost before taxes.
Since 2026, the 208/230 V CB25 and the CB22 9,000 and 18,000 are also certified with an “AI” indoor unit, in addition to the “I” unit. Values differ slightly (for example 22.5 or 23 SEER2 for the CB22 9,000). We put the exact number of your units on the quote.
Indoors, 28 to 33 dB(A) in silent mode depending on the model (39 dB(A) for the CB25 24,000), and 52 to 61 dB(A) for the outdoor unit, per the BRO_2606 brochures.
25 ft are pre-charged at the factory. The maximum goes from 65 ft (CB22 9,000 and 12,000, and 115 V versions) to 98 ft, and 98.4 ft for the UB32. Height difference: 50 ft, or 65 ft for the UB32.
The BRO_2606 brochures do not mention it and ENERGY STAR lists them as “not connected”. The LED wireless remote is included; we do not promise app control.
