Installation on a wall

  • Only permitted on a rear or side wall .

  • On a side wall , the unit must be installed at least 2 meters from the front facade wall .

Installation on a roof

  • Only possible on a flat roof of a main building .

  • If the device is visible from a public highway (other than an alley) , it must be concealed behind a painted, galvanized or anodized metal screen .

  • This screen must:

    • Be the same height as the device (height calculated from the roof to the top of the screen);

    • Have a minimum width equivalent to 1.5 times the width of the face of the device facing the street;

    • Be set back from the front wall by a distance at least equal to twice the height of the screen .
