LogisVert pays $120 per 1,000 BTU/h of capacity at -8 °C for an ENERGY STAR cold-climate heat pump, and $50 for a standard ENERGY STAR unit. A Sharp CHU 18,000 (22,600 BTU/h at -8 °C) gets $2,712. There is no cap per unit other than 100% of the cost before taxes; Hydro-Québec advertises up to $6,700.
