Modern comfort for a Montreal condo
In this project located in Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce , we installed a Gree wall-mounted air conditioner , designed to provide optimal comfort to occupants while meeting energy efficiency requirements. Installation context
The apartment in question is located in a modern condominium building. Technical progress of the installation
Positioning the indoor unit
The wall unit was mounted high up in the center of a clear wall to optimize airflow in the main room. The installation height was carefully chosen to avoid any conflict with the nearby wall-mounted TV screen. A Featherlite ladder was used to ensure safe and accurate work during mounting and connection.
Drilling and passage of connections
A discreet opening was made behind the unit to accommodate the refrigeration lines, electrical cable, and condensate pipe. The pipes were carefully insulated to prevent heat loss and ensure maximum durability. Protective capping was installed on the exterior to ensure the aesthetics of the facade while protecting the connections.
Condensate management
The system was designed for gravity drainage , avoiding the need for a lift pump. This simplifies maintenance and reduces the risk of long-term breakdown.
Electrical connections
A connection was made near an existing outlet, ensuring compliance with current electrical standards. Our technicians took care to validate the circuit breaker calibration to ensure safe use of the device.
