Giving a second life to a clogged outdoor unit

We sprayed a biodegradable, pH-neutral cleaner designed to dissolve mineral dust and organic residues without damaging the heat pump coating.
After a few minutes of sitting, the dirt softened, making it easier to rinse.
3. Low-pressure rinsing
A low-pressure jet of fresh water was used to completely remove the deposits. This process prevents deformation of the condenser fins, ensuring optimal airflow .
4. Cleaning the case and checking the fasteners
The exterior surface was then wiped and polished , and the screws, seals, and fasteners were tightened. We also checked the drainpipe to ensure there were no obstructions.
5. Drying and final test
After complete drying, the heat pump was switched back on. Temperature and pressure tests confirmed a return to normal performance and a reduced noise level .
