A winter intervention for optimal performance
At AirGreen , we know that a high-performing HVAC system needs year-round maintenance. We first disconnected the power supply and checked the integrity of the wiring and wall fixings. As the Fujitsu Halcyon unit was slightly frosted, a controlled defrosting phase was carried out before any cleaning.
Step 2: Cleaning the exterior components
Using a biodegradable detergent , we cleaned the condenser fins, the front grille, and the side surfaces. A low-pressure water jet removed the ingrained dirt without damaging the aluminum fins. We also brushed and disinfected the fan, which is often a breeding ground for dust and mold spores.
Step 3: Checking drainage and airflow
The condensate drainage system was tested to ensure no blockages were compromising the proper functioning of the heat pump. Once the cleaning was complete, we measured the restored airflow , which again reached the optimal level recommended by Fujitsu.
