Redesigned comfort for an apartment building
At AirGreen , every installation project is an opportunity to demonstrate our expertise in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) . This time, our team intervened in Sainte-Thérèse , on the North Shore of Montreal , for the installation of an LG wall-mounted heat pump , intended for a three-story residential building. The owner's objective: to offer each tenant optimal comfort, summer and winter, while reducing the building's overall energy consumption.
A demanding outdoor installation
From the moment we arrived, the challenge was clear: install the LG wall-mounted heat pump on the rear facade of a brick building, approximately six meters above the ground. The outdoor compressor had to be securely mounted on galvanized wall brackets to ensure perfect stability and optimal air circulation.
Step 1: Site Preparation

Checking the wall structure and masonry.

Calculation of the clearance required for airflow.

Installation of high-strength wall anchors (CSA compliant).

Installation of anti-vibration mount to reduce noise.
Our AirGreen truck, always well-equipped, contained all the specialized tools necessary for this type of intervention at height: telescopic ladder, laser level, stainless steel fasteners, and electrical equipment certified for outdoor use.
Interior installation: precision and aesthetics
The indoor unit was installed in one of the ground-floor apartments. We took care to perfectly align the mounting plate, route the refrigerant lines through the wall cavity, and conceal the wiring to preserve the aesthetics of the room.
The condensate drain has been positioned with a slight outward slope, ensuring efficient drainage even during periods of severe cooling.
Technical checks carried out:

Nitrogen leak test to ensure no leaks.

Vacuuming of the refrigeration circuit according to LG standards.

Charging with R-410A refrigerant , adjusted according to the exact length of the lines.

Compressor pressure and balance test .
Once all the checks were completed, we turned on the system and measured the blown air temperature: an impressive 22°C in heating mode and 8°C in air conditioning mode at the direct outlet.
A clean, quiet and efficient result
LG wall-mounted heat pumps are renowned for their reliability and quietness. After installation, the outdoor unit mounted on the brick wall operated with virtually no perceptible noise nearby.
