The centerpiece of this project was the Sharp THU wall-mounted heat pump, a marvel in HVAC technology renowned for its 24.0 SEER efficiency and robust 12,000 BTU cooling capacity. Engineered to provide optimal comfort, this unit features Plasmacluster technology, which not only enhances air quality but also neutralizes airborne bacteria and viruses, making it an excellent choice for health-conscious homeowners.

The installation site presented its own narrative—a rooftop setting that demanded precision and careful planning. Our customer’s preference to place the exterior unit on the roof to avoid noise and disruption on the sides of the building was a primary focus. This required not only technical expertise but also a creative approach to ensure that the unit was both functional and unobtrusive.
Steps of Installation:
- Site Assessment: Rigorous testing of the existing infrastructure revealed that the old pipes were compromised with holes, necessitating their replacement.
- Custom Pipe Installation: New pipes were installed, tailored to the specifications of the Sharp THU unit, ensuring optimal performance and durability.
- Rooftop Placement: The external unit was securely mounted on the roof, an unusual but customer-centric aspect of this project, emphasizing our dedication to bespoke solutions.
- Sound Optimization: Special care was taken to ensure that both the indoor and outdoor units operated within the sound pressure levels of 25/49 dB(A) and 50.0 dB(A) respectively, affirming a quiet and comfortable environment.
