Winterguard™ Defrosting
The VHR 70R ES incorporates a unique and quiet internal recirculation defrosting that does not depressurize the house during the defrost cycle. A preset defrost sequence is activated when the outside temperature drops below 23° F (-5° C) and automatically adjusts according to operating conditions. The fan speed is also automatically adjusted to ensure a smooth and quiet transition between Ventilation & Defrost mode.
Ease of Service
The core, filters, fans, drain pan, and electrical panel can easily be accessed from the access panel. The core is easily removed with only a 10" (250 mm) clearance.
Duct Connections
The 5" (125 mm) oval plastic duct connections are integrated with an air flow balancer and air flow measurement ports.
Controls
The VHR 70R ES air exchanger is equipped with a three-position external switch (Reduced/Stand By/Normal) that offers continuous ventilation. Fantech offers a variety of external controls for optimal ventilation management.
