Per HVI it delivers 252 cfm at 0.4 in, versus 203 cfm for the same-size SOLACE 2.0H (27.88 × 15.38 in). Its published balancing range is 120 to 280 cfm.
ECMECM motors: 34 W at 85 cfm
Its two electronically commutated motors draw 34 W at 85 cfm, while the standard-motor SOLACE 2.0H needs 98 W at the same airflow (HVI). In continuous operation, the gap shows on the power bill.

The only efficiency figure that matters for a Québec winter, and the one the Code uses. An efficiency quoted without its temperature means nothing; this one is measured at a test airflow of 83 cfm.
DamperIt defrosts without depressurizing the house
In cold weather, a motorized damper closes the outdoor air intake and recirculates indoor air through the core to thaw it. The house doesn't go into negative pressure during the cycle: no cold air drawn in through leaks, and none of the imbalance manufacturers warn about when there's a fireplace or a combustion appliance.
