The client wanted a quiet , discreet and economical system to replace an old, aging wall-mounted air conditioner. We therefore suggested this wall-mounted inverter heat pump , capable of providing heating and cooling in all seasons, while guaranteeing minimal noise levels both inside and outside.
An installation adapted to the urban environment
The outdoor unit was installed on a raised aluminum stand , securely anchored to the rear balcony floor. This arrangement provides better air circulation and prevents the accumulation of snow and debris in winter. The wiring and refrigerant lines were carefully concealed in a white cover that matched the building's masonry and finish.
We also opted for gravity drainage , thus avoiding the use of a condensate pump—a simple and reliable solution, ideal for balcony installations. The entire system was designed to minimize visual impact while meeting the safety and performance standards required in Montreal.
