After measuring the glass surfaces, the orientation and the internal contributions, we dimension the capacity around 9,000 to 12,000 BTU for this living area. The interior head is installed high up , in the center of a clear wall. This placement offers three advantages:

We are using a short refrigeration path : continuous insulated copper, shielded communication cables and compliant rigid drain . On the outside, the connections are protected by capping that matches the facade (neutral color), with bending radii respected to preserve the integrity of the pipes and limit pressure losses . Key points:

• Sealing the hole : closed-cell foam + polyurethane sealant, reconstituted vapor barrier.

• Stainless steel fixings and UV fasteners for durability.

• Proximity power cut-off at the condenser for safe maintenance.

Condenser installation: silence and compliance

In the common outdoor area (balcony/terrace or slab), the Zephyr condenser is placed on anti-vibration pads and wedged to ensure winter flow. Side and rear clearances are respected to optimize heat exchange. We ensure:

1) Minimalist interior aesthetics
The bare white wall had to remain understated. We aligned the head as close to the ceiling as possible to minimize visual impact, centered the machine for pleasing symmetry, and masked the cutout behind the unit to avoid any visible ceiling rose.

2) Condensate management without pump
The client wanted to avoid any additional noise source. By coordinating the height of the head and the external outlet , we obtained a reliable gravity slope , tested at the end of installation (flow tests).

3) Co-ownership and neighborhood
We provided the union with the layout diagram , the condenser sound sheet and our vibration attenuation procedures . Result: project authorized quickly and work completed in one day .
