This is precisely the case with this Midea wall-mounted air conditioner located in Outremont , whose outdoor condenser had stopped working properly following a particularly rainy spring.
The context of the call
The customer, who owned an apartment on the second floor of a typical brick triplex in the neighborhood, noticed that his Midea wall-mounted air conditioner was no longer producing cold air. Despite the indoor fan starting up, the outdoor unit remained silent.

On-site diagnosis: an exposed unit and an insulation problem
Our technician noticed that the outdoor unit, installed on a wooden terrace , showed signs of premature wear :
