A wall-mounted heat pump that heated intermittently above an entrance door
In Ville Mont-Royal, AirGreen was called for a Elite wall-mounted heat pump repair installed above an interior door, in a passage area where temperature variations were particularly felt. The wall unit, a residential mini-split type, was used both for supplemental heating in winter and air conditioning during summer. Correction of the temperature reading
The temperature sensor was cleaned, repositioned, and tested. After correction, the reading became much more stable. In this specific case, replacing the sensor was not necessary. The heat pump responded better once the internal environment was cleaned and the sensor properly repositioned.
Complete test in heating mode
We then restarted the unit and completed a full heating cycle. The airflow became more constant, the discharge temperature more regular, and the unit stopped slowing down too early. The client quickly noticed an improvement in comfort in the served area.
Result: stabilized heating and restored comfort
At the end of the intervention, the Elite wall-mounted heat pump in Ville Mont-Royal was operating much more predictably. The airflow was more uniform, cycles were longer and more consistent, and the ambient temperature gradually rose to the requested setpoint.
