Precise intervention in a restricted space

The client contacted us after noticing a drop in performance on one of their Gree wall-mounted heat pumps installed on the side façade. The initial installation consisted of three outdoor units aligned on a gray brick wall, each powering a dedicated indoor wall-mounted head.

Complete on-site diagnosis
Upon arrival, we performed a pressure check on the R410A refrigerant using our digital pressure gauge. The abnormal values observed confirmed a slow leak on the liquid line .
We then checked:

Traces of oil around the condenser and suction pipe.
A visual inspection revealed micro-seepage at the outlet of the expansion valve . A common problem on some Gree Lomo models when they undergo frequent defrost cycles in winter.
Careful repair and recharging
After isolating the circuit, we carried out:

Complete draining of remaining refrigerant using a recovery station.

Disassembly of the defective regulator , replaced by an OEM Gree part.

Nitrogen leak test at 300 psi for 45 minutes.

Deep vacuum down to 250 microns.

Accurate refill to the nearest gram according to manufacturer's specifications (1.25 kg of R410A).
Once commissioned, the heat pump displayed perfectly balanced evaporation and condensation temperatures , confirming restored performance.
