How many heaters on one thermostat?

Add up the wattage of your heaters. The tool checks the current against the limits Ouellet publishes: 1.25 A minimum (no minimum published for the OTH3600-GA-ZB), and 12.5 A (OTH3000), 16.7 A (OTH4000), 14.4 A (OTH5007) or 15 A (OTH3600-GA-ZB) maximum.

03 · OCE convectors

Your OCE convector keeps its 5-year warranty on two conditions

Ouellet states that the OCE’s 5-year warranty is valid only if the heater is controlled by a proportional pulsing electronic thermostat with a cycle of 15 seconds maximum, and the junction box is fixed to the wall with the supplied anchor.

Ouellet’s three Zigbee products go through the GT130 gateway and the Neviweb app. Tell the tool what you want to connect: the list shows what you need, from Ouellet’s sheets and Hilo’s list.

Which Ouellet thermostat for a 2,000 W baseboard at 240 V?

An OTH3000 is enough: it takes up to 3,000 W at 240 V. The OTH4000 goes up to 4,000 W if you plan to add a heater on the same thermostat.

Can I connect several baseboards to one thermostat?

Yes, as long as the total current stays between 1.25 A and the model’s maximum: 12.5 A for the OTH3000, 16.7 A for the OTH4000. The load check (section 02) adds it up for you.

My building runs on 208 V. What changes?

Maximums drop: 2,600 W for the OTH3000 and 3,465 W for the OTH4000. A convector also gives less heat: a 1,500 W OCE at 240 V gives 1,125 W at 208 V, per Ouellet’s sheet.

What is the difference between the OTH4000-A and the OTH4000P-A?

Same load (4,000 W at 240 V). The P is programmable, with up to 4 periods a day. The A is not.

Does the OTH4000-ZB work with Hilo?

Hilo’s list includes the “OTH4000ZB”, connected through a Sinopé GT130 gateway rather than the Hilo hub. The reward and its terms are set by Hilo, a Hydro-Québec subsidiary.

Do the Zigbee models need a gateway?

Yes. Ouellet requires the GT130 gateway (not included) for the OTH4000-ZB, the OTH3600-GA-ZB and the HP6000ZB-GE. Scheduling is done only in the Neviweb app.

Does the HP6000ZB-GE work with my wall heat pump?

Ouellet describes it as an interface for ACD ductless heat pumps, available with selected models only. It plugs into the RJ45 port on the indoor unit’s board. Its advanced functions need the GT130 gateway, Internet and an OTH4000-ZB. Fit with your unit is confirmed on quotation.

Can an OTH24 control a heat pump or air conditioning?

Ouellet’s documents do not say so. They describe two heating outputs (main and backup) through a 24 V relay.

Can the floor thermostat heat by room air?

Yes. In A mode the OTH3600-GA-ZB controls the air and can cap the floor temperature. In F mode it controls the floor with the sensor and can cap the air.

Does an Ouellet thermostat qualify for LogisVert?

No. The LogisVert guide v1.10 of September 15, 2026 mentions no thermostat.

How long is the warranty?

Three years against defects, per Ouellet’s sheets. According to the guides, Ouellet replaces the product on proof of purchase. Installation is not covered.

Does the OCEBMH-TH-DBL part fit any Ouellet baseboard?

Ouellet lists it only among the parts of the OCE convector series. Nothing points to any other heater. Fit is confirmed on quotation.

Are Ouellet thermostats made in Québec?

Ouellet has been based in L’Islet, Québec, since 1960. The company says it has assembled some products at its plant in China since 2005 and does not say where its thermostats are made.

Can AirGreen install an Ouellet thermostat?
