No. All six models are 24 VAC thermostats, and Robertshaw says not to install them on more than 30 VAC. Electric baseboards and floor heating run on 120/240 V.
Not for the RS8110, RS8210, RS9110, RS9210 and RS9220: they run on 24 V or 2 AA batteries, and the C wire is optional on batteries. The RS10420T requires the C wire and takes no batteries.
Robertshaw lists the RS8210 and RS9210 (2H/1C, emergency heat) and the RS10420T (up to 4H/2C). The RS9210 adds a schedule, the RS10420T adds Wi-Fi.
Robertshaw’s documents disagree: the sell sheet says yes, the installation manual says “without backup heat”, and the RS9110 has no W2 or emergency terminal. This page follows the manual: for backup heat, see the RS8210, RS9210 or RS10420T.
The RS9220 (2H/2C) or the RS10420T (2H/2C on a conventional system). They are the two models with a Y2 terminal.
The five battery models are compatible with 750 millivolt heating systems. For the RS10420T, the sell sheet says no while the manual lists them: on quotation.
7-day, 5-1-1 or non-programmable, with four periods a day: wake, leave, return and sleep. The RS10420T uses 7-day scheduling.
Yes. Robertshaw describes it as Alexa-compatible, with Wi-Fi and the Robertshaw Thermostat app (iOS and Android).
A 6-year Robertshaw limited warranty from the purchase date, given to the original contract installer or the original consumer. Robertshaw repairs, replaces or credits the price; removal, labour and reinstallation are not covered, nor are batteries.
None as of October 14, 2026: no Robertshaw model is on the ENERGY STAR smart thermostat list, the Énergir lists or Hilo, and LogisVert has no thermostat measure.
