The questions we get about the CONCERTO
Down to what outdoor temperature does the CONCERTO heat?
TTI’s leaflet states heating down to -30 °C, with 100 % of heating capacity at -15 °C and 75 % at -30 °C. Below -35 °C, the unit shuts off to protect itself.
Which size do I need?
It depends on the room, insulation, windows and use (backup or main heating). The CONCERTO runs from 9,000 to 22,000 BTU/h in cooling. We confirm the size on site at the free estimate.
Why does the “24,000” model cool at 22,000 BTU/h?
Its model number is MSVPD-22HRFN1-MT0W: it cools at 22,000 BTU/h and heats at 24,000 BTU/h according to TTI’s leaflet.
Which refrigerant does it use?
R-410A, with a Toshiba inverter rotary compressor.
Is it quiet?
Indoors, 23 to 45 dB depending on size and fan speed; outdoors, 56 to 60 dB. Tool 01 gives the figures for each size.
What is the warranty?
TTI’s leaflet states 5 years on parts and 5 years on the compressor. Labour is not included: on quotation.
Is the CONCERTO eligible for LogisVert?
No. None of the four sizes is on Hydro-Québec’s LogisVert list of October 13, 2026, so no grant amount applies to these models.
Is it ENERGY STAR certified?
TTI’s leaflet carries the logo, but the ENERGY STAR list checked on October 13, 2026 has no CONCERTO record, so we do not claim the certification.
Does it have Wi-Fi?
TTI’s leaflet does not mention it. On quotation.
What is the maximum distance between the two units?
82 ft for the 9,000 and 12,000, 98 ft for the 18,000 and 164 ft for the 24,000; maximum height difference 33, 33, 66 and 82 ft.
Who distributes TTI CONCERTO in Québec?
TTI Climatisation Chauffage (2005) Inc., based in Longueuil. CONCERTO is the name of its wall-unit line.
Why is the CONCERTO no longer on TTI’s website?
