BRADFORD WHITE LE110U3-1NCL Commercial Electric Water Heater (10 gallons) | Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, South Shore & North Shore
A 10 US gallon tank to supply a kitchenette or a bar with hot water, without running a new line
When fitting out a staff kitchenette, a bar or a service counter, hot water is often the forgotten item. The main water heater is at the other end of the building, and extending a line all the way there takes time, opens walls and gives water that is slow to arrive. The Bradford White LE110U3-1NCL commercial electric water heater offers a more direct solution: a 10 US gallon tank (8 imperial gallons, 38 L) installed near the sink, producing its own hot water. AirGreen installs it in offices, businesses and restaurants in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, the South Shore and the North Shore.
Renovation: adding hot water where there is none
In a commercial renovation, every metre of piping has a price and every wall opening stretches out the work. A local tank avoids those detours. All it needs is a cold water supply, an electrical circuit and a discharge point for the relief valve. Hot water then travels a very short distance to the tap, which limits waiting and waste.
This solution also helps when a leased space simply has no hot water, or when the main water heater barely keeps up with existing demand and you do not want to overload it with a new fixture.
Examples of use
- An office kitchenette, for lunch dishes and counter cleaning.
- A restaurant’s bar sink, far from the kitchen, where glasses are rinsed during the evening.
- The service counter of a café or a bakery, for washing utensils.
- A clinic’s exam room, where a washbasin must provide hot water quickly.

Sizing it right: reserve and recovery
Two figures describe what the unit can deliver. First, its 10 US gallon reserve, available immediately. Second, its recovery: according to Bradford White, the 1,500 W element heats 6 US gallons per hour at a 100 °F rise. For a kitchenette or a bar sink, that is a good balance: the reserve covers filling a sink or a series of rinses, then the unit recovers during quieter moments.
If the sink is used to wash dishes without interruption, or if several fixtures must be supplied, a larger tank or a higher power rating will be preferable. We do that calculation with you based on actual use before recommending a model.
Power and electrical supply
The LE110U3-1NCL runs on a single 1,500 W element, single-phase only. It is a modest load that connects easily to an existing commercial panel. For this series, the manufacturer’s limitations table provides for power ratings from 1,500 W to 6,000 W depending on voltage, and from 1,500 W to 3,000 W only at 120 V; conversion kits are listed for 120, 208, 240, 277, 380, 480 V.
The exact voltage of the unit delivered and the circuit that will supply it are confirmed in our written quote, after we check your panel. We make the electrical connections under our RBQ licence.
Location, anchoring and safety
At 16 in. in diameter and 48 lb empty, the LE110U3-1NCL fits in a closet, under a sturdy shelf or in a utility room next to the sink. When space is tight, we confirm the unit’s exact height with the manufacturer before ordering. Once filled, the tank is considerably heavier: it must rest on a surface able to carry it and be firmly secured.
The relief valve, mandatory on every tank, must be connected to a compliant discharge, and the element must remain accessible for service. Those details, more than the size of the unit, often determine the right location.
Protecting the tank and the element
The inside of the tank is lined with Vitraglas with Microban, an antimicrobial technology, and the factory-installed dielectric fittings limit corrosion between the piping and the tank. The standard element is copper; an INCOLOY-type element, more resistant to corrosion, is available on request. We recommend it when the building’s water is particularly hard.
Listings and warranty
According to Bradford White’s documentation, all models are ETL listed, and applicable models are CSA verified for energy performance in accordance with C191.1-M90. The "3" suffix in the model number corresponds to the 3-year limited tank warranty and 1 year on parts.
Installation of the Bradford White LE110U3-1NCL by AirGreen
