Its two electronically commutated motors draw 23 W at 70 cfm, or 3.0 cfm per watt per HVI and the spec sheet. At part load, Greentek notes energy use is much lower than with an AC motor of equivalent output.

It has the same dimensions as the SOLACE 1.5H (27.88 × 13.38 in) but delivers 172 cfm at 0.4 in instead of 150 cfm, per HVI. Handy when the duct system is more demanding and there is no room for a bigger unit.

The only efficiency figure that matters for a Québec winter, and the one the Code uses. An efficiency quoted without its temperature means nothing; this one is measured at a test airflow of 66 cfm.
DamperIt defrosts without depressurizing the house
In cold weather, a motorized damper closes the outdoor air intake and recirculates indoor air through the core to thaw it. The house doesn't go into negative pressure during the cycle: no cold air drawn in through leaks, and none of the imbalance manufacturers warn about when there's a fireplace or a combustion appliance.
