The V160H75RS connects its 6 in ducts on the side, which brings its height down to 19 1/8 in, versus 21 1/2 in for the V160H75RT. It does need 23 3/8 in of width.

In deep cold, HVI certifies 67% sensible efficiency at −25 °C (66 cfm) for this model. The spec sheet of the 65-class V160H65RS lists 60% at 68 cfm: 7 points less right when it is coldest.

The only efficiency figure that matters for a Québec winter, and the one the Code uses. An efficiency quoted without its temperature means nothing; this one is measured at a test airflow of 66 cfm.
DamperIt defrosts without depressurizing the house
In cold weather, a motorized damper closes the outdoor air intake and recirculates indoor air through the core to thaw it. The house doesn't go into negative pressure during the cycle: no cold air drawn in through leaks, and none of the imbalance manufacturers warn about when there's a fireplace or a combustion appliance.
HRVIt recovers heat, not moisture
Excess moisture leaves the house. In Québec, that's the right choice in most cases: in winter, the problem is almost always too much humidity, not too little.
