Coanda air diffusion technology: comfort without direct drafts
One of the key features of the SHARP CHU/CU series is the Coanda Airflow technology. This technology allows air to circulate along the ceiling in cooling mode and along the floor in heating mode, thus avoiding an uncomfortable direct blow.
Specifically, during an installation we carried out in a condo in Boucherville (South Shore) , the owners complained of drafts with their old wall-mounted system. After installing the SHARP DoubleZone CU, the more diffused air distribution significantly improved comfort in the living room and master bedroom.
Note: Differences between CU and CHU series
It is important to clarify that:

The CU series does not have a motion sensor .

The horizontal left-right flaps are not automatic on the CU series (manual adjustment).
These features are present on some CHU units, but not on the CU. At AirGreen, we always explain these distinctions to our clients to avoid any confusion when choosing a model.
