Why this modulation is important in a bedroom or office
An overly aggressive system can cause:

For the climate of Greater Montréal, this figure is often more important than the performance observed at -30 °C, since the heat pump can provide a significant portion of the heating for much of the winter.
If the space requires less than 18,000 BTU/h at -15 °C, the unit can still handle a large portion of the load.
