Designed for Quebec’s cold climate, the CANAIR 4C28 keeps heating down to -30°C. It is ENERGY STAR® cold climate certified. According to NEEP, it delivers 12,000 BTU/h at -8°C (COP 2.49) and 11,500 BTU/h at -15°C (COP 1.8).

In both heating and cooling, it keeps remarkable efficiency:

• SEER2: 27.4 — among the highest efficiencies on the market,

• HSPF2: 12.5,

• EER2: 15.4,

• R-454B refrigerant (GWP of 466, compared with 2,088 for R-410A), meeting modern environmental standards.

One of the highlights of the 4C28 series is its 10-year warranty on parts and compressor, plus 6 years on labour, directly from the distributor. The labour warranty can also be extended to 10 years depending on the coverage chosen.

Please note: this 9,000 BTU size is not eligible for Hydro-Québec’s LogisVert program, which requires an outdoor unit of at least 12,000 BTU/h nominal cooling capacity. The 12,000 BTU 4C28 has an indicative LogisVert amount of $1,440; only Hydro-Québec confirms the aid granted.
