Plan for drainage from the outset
In cooling mode, the indoor unit removes moisture from the air.
This water must be drained.
When the configuration allows it, gravity drainage generally remains the simplest solution. The drain must then maintain an appropriate slope along its route.
If the building configuration does not allow for this slope, a condensate pump may sometimes be necessary.
This question must be settled before installation, not improvised once the unit has been mounted on the wall.
