DURASTAR Advanced R-410A electric furnaces: 13 units, two-stage
On our site, each DURASTAR central system also exists under the name “electric furnace”: it is the indoor air handler (blower) of the same system, same series and same size. The figures are those of the complete system. Advanced (DRHP15) is a two-stage central family, from 1.5 to 5 tons. DURASTAR publishes no minimum heating temperature. The R-410A version, still allowed in Canada for a residential heat pump.

How much heat is left when it gets cold, listing by listing.
Dark bar: heat at -8 °C. Light bar: at -15 °C. On the right, the limit DURASTAR publishes for each family.
The cold limit, by family
“Down to”: heating operating range from DURASTAR’s spec sheets (Sirius Heat: -22 °F / -30 °C; non-Sirius: -13 °F / -25 °C; 115 V: -4 °F / -20 °C). Sirius Heat keeps 100% of its rated heating capacity down to 0 °F (-18 °C). DURASTAR publishes no minimum for Advanced and Core.
Why the light bar is sometimes longer: in ENERGY STAR’s listing, the -8 °C (17 °F) figure is the capacity at the certification test point, while the -15 °C (5 °F) figure is the maximum capacity. Both come from the same AHRI number.

What to know before choosing.
“Electric furnace”: the indoor unit
On our site, each central system also exists under the name “electric furnace”: it is the indoor air handler (blower) of the same system, same series and same size.
Same outdoor unit, other air handler
The “variable speed”, “front return” and “mini-split” listings pair an outdoor unit already listed with another indoor unit. Each combination has its own AHRI number, so its own certified heat and its own amount.
Advanced and Core: no published minimum
DURASTAR publishes no minimum heating temperature for Advanced (DRHP15) and Core (DRHP14).

What is a DURASTAR “electric furnace”?
The indoor air handler (blower) of a DURASTAR central system. Each listing matches a central system of the same series and size, with the same AHRI number.
How is it different from the Central page?
They are the same systems, presented by their indoor part. If you keep your current furnace, see the ADD-ON collection instead.
What warranty?
Advanced, Core and DRAH air handlers: 10-year parts if the unit is registered within 90 days, otherwise 5 years; no labour included by the manufacturer. The Elite units have their own document: ask us for the terms before ordering.
Can my current ducts be used?
We talk about it during the free estimate, with your home in front of us.
How much is an installed DURASTAR?
Every installation is different: the estimate is free and the price comes with the quote.
Who makes DURASTAR?
DURASTAR is the house brand of Ferguson, a large North American heating and cooling distributor; in Canada, Ferguson does business as Wolseley. The Advanced and Core central systems are warranted by Rheem Sales Company. DURASTAR does not publish who makes its mini-splits.

We look at your home, choose the family and the size, check the LogisVert amount of the exact AHRI number, and hand you a clear quote.
Hydro-Québec does no phone or door-to-door solicitation for LogisVert. An unrequested call “on behalf of Hydro-Québec” is probably a scam.
