05 · LogisVert

LogisVert: the rules first, the amount second

Hydro-Québec’s program helps pay for a heat pump. Here are the rules from its guide that apply to a wall unit.

ENERGY STAR

The model must be ENERGY STAR certified (required since Nov. 26, 2025).

12 000 BTU/h

Minimum nominal capacity of the outdoor unit.

$50 or $120

Per 1,000 BTU/h of heating at -8 °C, depending on whether the unit is standard or cold-climate.

9 months

To file the claim after installation.

Eligibility of GENERALLUX models: on quotation. Hydro-Québec confirms eligibility model by model, in its equipment list: it is checked before any amount. The Series T 9,000 BTU/h is below the 12,000 BTU/h threshold.

Source: Hydro-Québec, LogisVert participation guide, version 1.10 of September 15, 2026. Hydro-Québec confirms amounts and conditions when the claim is filed.

06 · Warranty and manufacturer

What the manufacturer publishes, and what it doesn’t

We only write here what the manufacturer’s documents say. Everything else is on quotation.

The manufacturer’s warranty

GENERALLUX offers a limited warranty on these units. Its terms and conditions depend on the manufacturer’s warranty document in force at the time of purchase.

  • Terms by component: on quotation
  • Conditions (installation, maintenance, registration): per the manufacturer’s document
  • Limited warranty: read the exclusions before you sign

GENERALLUX and Manuflow, plainly

GENERALLUX is the brand. Its website, generallux.ca, also presents Manuflow: the “about” page carries its name. The GENERALLUX STAR name identifies Series AST.

  • Documents used: 2023 brochures and AHRI certificates published on generallux.ca
  • Refrigerant of all three lines: R-410A
  • Wi-Fi control listed in the brochures; module included or optional: on quotation
