BRADFORD WHITE LE330S3-3NCWW Commercial Electric Water Heater (30 gallons) | Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, South Shore & North Shore
A 30 US gallon commercial water heater with a narrow diameter that gets through where a standard tank gets stuck
In a small commercial space, the water heater often hides in a closet, behind a narrow door or in a cluttered corner of a stockroom. When it is time to replace it, the first obstacle is not technical: it is getting it through. The Bradford White LE330S3-3NCWW commercial electric water heater solves that with a 30 US gallon tank (25 imperial gallons, 114 L) only 20 in. (508 mm) in diameter. It includes two 4,500 W elements and factory three-phase commercial wiring. AirGreen installs it in businesses and offices in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, the South Shore and the North Shore.
It suits neighbourhood businesses, commercial condo units, small professional offices and branches whose hot water use remains moderate: a few washbasins, a kitchenette, a service sink.
A 20 in. diameter: the advantage of getting through
A narrow tank is easier to carry down a staircase, slips through a door frame and leaves room around it in a utility closet. At 20 in. in diameter and 100 lb (45 kg) empty, the LE330S3-3NCWW is handled by two people without heavy equipment. Once in place, it leaves more space to move around, to reach the neighbouring electrical panel or to store maintenance supplies.
Height matters too: the relief valve is installed on top of the unit, and its discharge pipe must be able to run down to a drain. We confirm the model’s exact height with the manufacturer before ordering, then check the space available above the unit during the assessment.

Two elements taking turns
In the factory configuration, the two 4,500 W elements are wired interlocking and never run together. This approach limits the electrical load while providing a recovery of 18 US gallons per hour at a 100 °F rise, according to Bradford White. For a small business, it is a good compromise: the 30 US gallon reserve covers the peaks, and the recovery is enough to bring it back up between them.
Single-phase or simultaneous conversion on site
The LE330S3-3NCWW is shipped from the factory as a standard three-phase, non-simultaneous model. The manufacturer provides that it can be converted on site to a single-phase model or for simultaneous operation. Single-phase conversion matters for the many spaces without three-phase power. Simultaneous operation lets both elements heat together for faster recovery, within the limits of the power table the manufacturer publishes for each mode.
These choices depend directly on your panel. We check the available supply and the remaining capacity, then confirm the selected configuration in the written quote. The electrical connections are made under our RBQ licence.
The businesses it suits
- The neighbourhood business with a washroom and a service sink.
- The commercial condo unit, where the water heater has to fit in a closet originally planned for a smaller appliance.
- The professional office with a kitchenette and two washrooms.
- The branch or service point whose consumption is steady but modest.
Copper or INCOLOY element
The standard elements are copper, screw-in immersion type. Bradford White offers an INCOLOY-type element on request, an alloy more resistant to corrosion, useful when the water is hard or aggressive. In both cases, the elements are replaced one at a time, without removing the tank.
Tank protection, listing and warranty
The tank is lined with Vitraglas with Microban, an antimicrobial technology, and the factory-installed dielectric fittings limit corrosion between the piping and the tank. According to the manufacturer’s documentation, all models are UL listed. The "3" in the model number corresponds to the 3-year limited tank warranty and 1 year on parts; a 5-year warranty version exists under a different number.
Recommended maintenance
One visit a year is generally enough for moderate commercial use: flushing the tank to clear sediment, checking both elements and their thermostats, and testing the relief valve on top of the unit. These simple steps extend the tank’s life and prevent breakdowns at the wrong moment.
