With the GENERAL AIRSTAGE FJ-AC-WIFI-1 Wi-Fi interface, a Halcyon or AIRSTAGE (GENERAL or Fujitsu) indoor unit connects directly to your home network, with no interface kit to add. This GENERAL interface is the same one sold under the Fujitsu name (see the same part under the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE brand): since January 1, 2026, Fujitsu General Limited has been called GENERAL Inc., following its acquisition by Paloma Rheem Holdings, and nothing else moves, not the manufacturer, the factories, the AIRSTAGE products or the model numbers. The Fujitsu brand is gradually giving way to GENERAL; in the meantime, AirGreen, an authorized GENERAL and Fujitsu AIRSTAGE dealer, sells the part under both names. Developed by Intesis for the manufacturer, the interface plugs into the unit's CN65 UART port and opens up the Intesis AC Cloud Control app, so you can run and monitor your heat pump from wherever you are.

Plugged into the CN65 port, no interface kit

Many control modules need an interface board slipped between the indoor unit and the accessory. Not this one: the FJ-AC-WIFI-1 plugs into the CN65 port with the 1.5 m cable included and draws its power from the unit itself (12 VDC, 60 mA). No outlet, no transformer, no batteries to change. All that is left is to join it to the home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

It works alongside GENERAL or Fujitsu remotes: the remote or the wall controller stays in service for everyday use, and the app takes over when you are elsewhere. The unit keeps both in sync.

It is the natural option for the homeowner who wants to add remote control to a Halcyon heat pump that is already installed, without changing anything about their habits. It also helps the manager of several units: they see the status of each unit, quickly spot a clogged filter or an error, then group maintenance into a single round instead of multiplying emergency trips.

What the app lets you do

On, off, mode, setpoint, fan: the Intesis AC Cloud Control app gives you equipment control, along with room temperature monitoring. The app also displays the errors reported by the unit and the filter status. The owner of a cottage or a rental unit can make sure, in the heart of winter, that the unit is running normally, and be alerted to a fault without hitting the road. As for the module, it receives its software updates remotely, over the Internet (OTA).

Compared with the other Wi-Fi modules

When it comes to Wi-Fi, the manufacturer offers more than one solution. The AIRSTAGE Mobile series goes through the manufacturer's app: UTY-TFSXH4 for wall-mounted units, UTY-TFSXJ4 for the other unit types. The FJ-IR-WIFI-1NA, for its part, mounts on the wall and controls the unit by infrared, without wires. The FJ-AC-WIFI-1 stands out with its direct connection to the CN65 port: a wired, discreet solution, tucked inside the unit or right next to it, that does not need to "see" the equipment the way an infrared signal does. In the end, your indoor unit's model decides, and we confirm it together.

Installation by AirGreen

First, our technicians make sure your unit is among the compatible models and that it does have the CN65 port. They then open the unit, plug in the supplied cable, mount the module where the Wi-Fi signal is strong enough, pair it with the app and test every command. Before we leave, you will know how to read the error and filter status alerts, and how to invite other family members into the account.

Maintenance

As far as maintenance goes, the module needs none. The only exception: the day you replace your router or change the Wi-Fi password, the connection must be redone. And when the app tells you it is time, clean the unit's filters.
