The name says 12,000 BTU: that's the unit's size class. Trane publishes 12,100 BTU/h at 230 V, a little more than its size class, and 11,900 at 208 V, the supply in many buildings.

The "H" in PTHG1201HAA means a heater of up to 5.0 kW: 5,000 W at 230 V, 4,090 W at 208 V. It heats when the heat pump can no longer keep up. The size installed (2.5, 3.5 or 5.0 kW) follows the power cord and the circuit.
