Repair of a Midea wall-mounted heat pump in Longueuil

A service call came in from a customer in Longueuil , who was concerned that his Midea wall-mounted heat pump was no longer starting. The outdoor unit, installed on the balcony of his condo, was not producing any noise or vibration, while the indoor unit was displaying the operating indicator light.

  6. Complete heating and cooling cycle test : the compressor restarted with stable pressure and constant cold airflow.

Results: Restored performance and increased safety

After the repair, the Midea heat pump returned to its original efficiency. Cold air circulated smoothly through the coils, and the indoor temperature dropped from 26°C to 22°C in less than twenty minutes.

We also installed a discreet anti-condensation drip tray under the base of the unit to prevent water from accumulating on the balcony. This small improvement will extend the life of the system while reducing the risk of moisture on the facade.
