DURASTAR Advanced R-410A central ADD-ON systems: 3 units, two-stage
You keep your furnace: we add the outdoor heat pump and a coil on the existing furnace. “ADD-ON” is our name for this setup; the coil width follows your furnace’s width. Advanced (DRHP15) is a two-stage central family, from 1.5 to 5 tons. DURASTAR publishes no minimum heating temperature. The R-410A version, still allowed in Canada for a residential heat pump.

How much heat is left when it gets cold, listing by listing.
Dark bar: heat at -8 °C. Light bar: at -15 °C. On the right, the limit DURASTAR publishes for each family.
The cold limit, by family
“Down to”: heating operating range from DURASTAR’s spec sheets (Sirius Heat: -22 °F / -30 °C; non-Sirius: -13 °F / -25 °C; 115 V: -4 °F / -20 °C). Sirius Heat keeps 100% of its rated heating capacity down to 0 °F (-18 °C). DURASTAR publishes no minimum for Advanced and Core.
Why the light bar is sometimes longer: in ENERGY STAR’s listing, the -8 °C (17 °F) figure is the capacity at the certification test point, while the -15 °C (5 °F) figure is the maximum capacity. Both come from the same AHRI number.

What to know before choosing.
The coil width
Each ADD-ON listing gives the coil width (14.5, 17.5, 21, 21.5 or 24.5 in). We measure it on your furnace during the estimate.
One AHRI number per pairing
With an ADD-ON, the same coil is certified several times, once per combination with the furnace. So the Advanced and Core listings show none: we find the right number, and the LogisVert amount that goes with it, during the quote.
Gas or oil furnace
AirGreen installs the heat pump and the coil (RBQ 15.8, 15.10 and 16). Any work on the furnace’s gas or oil supply goes to a contractor licensed for gas or oil.
The furnace blower does the work
With an ADD-ON, your furnace’s blower pushes the air through the coil, then into your existing ducts.

The LogisVert amount is confirmed in the quote.
Hydro-Québec pays $120 per 1,000 BTU/h of heat at -8 °C for an ENERGY STAR cold-climate heat pump, $50 for a standard ENERGY STAR one, if the outdoor unit is at least 12,000 BTU/h. With an ADD-ON, each certified combination has its own AHRI number, and the furnace the coil sits on is part of it: that is why some listings say “on quote”.

What is a central ADD-ON?
An outdoor heat pump and a coil added to your existing furnace, which you keep. “ADD-ON” is our name for this setup.
Which coil width?
Your furnace’s: from 14.5 to 24.5 in depending on the listing. We measure it during the free estimate.
And LogisVert?
The amount shown comes from the listing’s AHRI number. When the listing has none (Advanced and Core ADD-ON, where each pairing with the furnace has its own number), it is confirmed in the quote.
Does my gas or oil furnace work with it?
We measure the space for the coil during the estimate. Any work on the gas or oil supply goes to a licensed gas or oil contractor.
How much is an installed DURASTAR?
Every installation is different: the estimate is free and the price comes with the quote.
Who makes DURASTAR?
DURASTAR is the house brand of Ferguson, a large North American heating and cooling distributor; in Canada, Ferguson does business as Wolseley. The Advanced and Core central systems are warranted by Rheem Sales Company. DURASTAR does not publish who makes its mini-splits.

We look at your home, choose the family and the size, check the LogisVert amount of the exact AHRI number, and hand you a clear quote.
Hydro-Québec does no phone or door-to-door solicitation for LogisVert. An unrequested call “on behalf of Hydro-Québec” is probably a scam.
