How much heat is left on the coldest nights? AMERISTAR's published heating table for the 23 Series goes down to -30°C: at -14°C, the 12,000 BTU/h model still gives 9,894 BTU/h in it. Pick the size and the temperature.
Each step is a row of the brand's heating table (normal operation, indoor air at 20°C). The table also has a -4°C row, which we transcribed for the 9,000 only: it is not in the tool.

At -20°C, the 17 Series' published limit, the 23 Series gives more at every size; at -25°C, only the 23 Series is inside its published range.

The 23 Series' published range runs from -30°C to 30°C in heating and from -29°C to 50°C in cooling.

In the brand's table, the 9,000 BTU/h model still gives 4,100 BTU/h at -30°C, about 27% of its 15,180 BTU/h at 8°C (AirGreen's calculation).

The 9,000 table prints 12,100 BTU/h at -4°C, more than the 11,660 BTU/h printed at 0°C: values as printed.

The brand publishes a heating range down to -30°C and its table gives a value at that step: 4,100 BTU/h for the 9,000, 6,380 for the 12,000, 7,842 for the 18,000 and 15,311 for the 24,000 (normal operation, indoor air at 20°C).
It is a value from the brand's heating table. AMERISTAR states that these capacities reflect normal operation; the table gives them with indoor air at 20°C.
The sell sheet gives a maximum breaker of 15 A for the 9,000 and the 12,000, 20 A for the 18,000 and 25 A for the 24,000, on 208-230 V.

AMERISTAR limited warranty (GW-600-2100A): 5 years on all parts, or 10 years (original purchaser) if the product is registered within 60 days of installation. Labour is not covered by the manufacturer. It applies to products installed in a residential or multi-family application.
