Quick facts
This HEPA filtration system handles 240 ft³/min (CFM) of air. Connected to the home’s duct system, it draws in the circulating air, passes it through a HEPA filter and sends it back to the rooms. It is added to a furnace, an air handler or a central heat pump.
When the furnace filter is no longer enough
The filter in a furnace or air handler is there first to protect the equipment. For someone with allergies or asthma, in a home with pets, or during a wildfire smoke episode, you want to go further. By definition, a HEPA filter captures at least 99.97% of particles at 0.3 micron, the hardest size to capture. The HEPA system thus filters the air of the whole house, with no portable unit in every room.
What to plan for
- An existing duct system: furnace, air handler or central heat pump.
- A location near the ducts, with clear access for changing the filters.
- Duct and electrical connections made by qualified personnel.
Maintenance
The filters are replaced periodically; a clogged filter reduces the system’s airflow and efficiency. We tell you how often to replace them based on your home and your use. Send us your system’s configuration: we confirm the location and the connections before ordering.

Frequently asked questions
What is a HEPA filter?
A very high-efficiency filter that, by definition, captures at least 99.97% of 0.3 micron particles, the hardest size to catch.
Do I need a furnace or central heat pump?
You need a duct system. The unit connects to it to treat the air circulating through the house.
Does it replace my furnace filter?
No. The furnace or air handler filter protects the equipment; the HEPA system adds much finer filtration.
Can you install it?
Yes. Our technicians connect it to your ducts and check its operation, everywhere in Greater Montréal.
