  1. Worn start capacitor , preventing the fan motor from starting properly.

  2. Condenser fouling , reducing heat dissipation and forcing the compressor into protection.

Repair carried out

The intervention took place in three stages:

  1. Replaced the capacitor with a Goodman OEM compatible model, ensuring stable restart of the fan.

  2. Complete cleaning of the condenser with fresh water and a soft brush, without damaging the fins.

  3. Checking the refrigeration circuit and adjusting the R410A refrigerant level to bring the pressures back within the manufacturer's tolerances.

After restarting, the unit resumed smooth and quiet operation. Temperature measurements confirmed a difference of 10.4°C between the air inlet and outlet, indicating optimal performance had returned.
