Installation vs. invoice: which date matters for LogisVert? (2026)

For LogisVert , the installation date (date the measure was implemented) is the determining factor, not the date on the invoice. This date is used to calculate the 9-month period and to apply the rules (including the November 26, 2025 threshold).

Which date is valid?
The reference rule is the date the measure was put in place — for a heat pump, the guide also specifies that financial assistance is determined according to the date the heat pump was installed .

  • Deadline : the request must be submitted no later than 9 months after the implementation of the measure.

  • Grouped measures : if you group several measures, the 9th month is calculated from the date of implementation of the first measure.

  • Heat pump : heat pumps installed from November 26, 2025 onwards must be ENERGY STAR® certified; before this date, treatment is done according to the list in force at the time of installation.

  • Amount : Financial assistance is determined according to the date of installation of the heat pump.

Bill vs. installation: what should appear
The invoice date is required as proof of payment, but it is not what triggers the calculation of deadlines or the application of rules: the main thing is that the installation date is clearly indicated, and that the information demonstrates that the invoice has been paid.
For a heat pump, the invoice(s) must include, among other things:

  • invoice number and date

  • installation date

  • customer name, installation address

  • company name, GST/QST numbers, RBQ license number

  • Product description and eligible work

  • AHRI or ENERGY STAR® number

  • cost of the work

Application deadlines and submission
Applications are only accepted online at logisvert.ca (no applications by email or mail).

  • If the application is incomplete or inadmissible, Hydro-Québec will inform you within approximately 20 business days of receipt.

  • The processing time is 10 to 12 weeks from receipt of a complete application.

  • Within 6 months of the request, Hydro-Québec may request access to the dwelling to verify compliance.
