A blurry ENERGY STAR® photo can make your LogisVert application incomplete (and therefore delay processing) if it does not allow the required information on the nameplate to be read.
Documents to provide (photo required)
For a heat pump to be eligible, a clear photo of the outdoor unit's nameplate must be provided:
-
The ENERGY STAR® symbol must be visible.
-
The model number and serial number must be legible.
-
It's one photo per model .
Risks and consequences if the photo is blurry
If the photo does not meet the requirements (illegible symbol/numbers), Hydro-Québec may consider the application incomplete or request additional evidence.
-
You may be notified within approximately ~20 working days of receipt if the application is incomplete or ineligible.
-
Any incomplete application may result in delays exceeding 10 to 12 weeks .
How to avoid a rejection (what to do again / what to check)
We recommend replacing the blurry photo with a clear one, and then checking that your application also contains the expected elements, including:
-
The invoice must demonstrate that it has been paid.
-
The invoice must include an AHRI or ENERGY STAR® number, as well as (among other things) the company's RBQ license number and QST (and GST) numbers, in addition to the installation dates and address.
Filing, tracking and assistance
-
Applications must be made online at logisvert.ca (applications submitted by email or post will not be processed).
-
You must submit the request no later than 9 months after the date the measure was put into effect.
-
Hydro-Québec may request additional documents and may also schedule an on-site inspection; you must allow access to the property within 6 months of the request.
