09 · Warranty and installation
What is written, and what the law says.
The R-410A sheet announces 10 years on parts. For a heat pump bought new on or after October 5, 2026, the law adds a 6-year warranty of good working order, counted from delivery.

For a heat pump or air conditioner bought new from a merchant on or after October 5, 2026, Quebec law adds a free, automatic 6-year warranty of good working order, counted from delivery (Office de la protection du consommateur). Under TTI’s parts policy (v3.4, July 17, 2026), labour to replace a part during that period falls on the installing contractor.
Certified technician
Service or repair by anyone not certified and authorized by TTI (or Kinghome) ends the manufacturer’s conventional warranty (TTI, s. 4.4).
Through your installer
If something breaks, you call the contractor who installed it; they file the claim with TTI.
Filters, every month
TTI’s policy asks owners to clean the indoor unit filters at least once a month (s. 6.3).

The model made for 4 zones is the ZE-536M425 (R-454B, 4 units per our page, to be confirmed with TTI; $2,712 of LogisVert) or the ZE-36M422SCO (R-410A, up to 4 units per the TTI sheet). We also offer larger compressors, after TTI validates the combination; the LogisVert amount then follows the AHRI number of the installed combination.
A multi-zone keeps a single unit outside; wall units are independent, each with its own outdoor unit. For LogisVert, the guide speaks of the complete system in each dwelling: before counting several wall units in one dwelling, we check with Hydro-Québec. We compare both options during the visit.
No, per system: Hydro-Québec takes the outdoor unit’s heat at -8 °C, for the AHRI number of the installed combination. Example: $1,380 for the ZE-518M225 (AHRI 216684161), $3,384 for the ZE-542M525 (AHRI 216684168).
For the R-410A “Zephyr 22”, the TTI sheet says up to 2 (ZE-18M222SCO), 3 (ZE-24M322SCO), 4 (ZE-36M422SCO) or 5 (ZE-42M522SCO). For the R-454B family, TTI gives the 2 to 5 range; our pages show 2 (ZE-518M225), 3 (ZE-527M325), 4 (ZE-536M425) and 5 (ZE-542M525), to be confirmed with TTI for your project.
TTI publishes no minimum number of indoor units and no combination table. When we propose that kind of combination, we have TTI validate it before the quote.
TTI’s “Zephyr 22” (R-410A) sheet says -25 °C. For the R-454B family, TTI does not yet publish a minimum temperature; ENERGY STAR certifies its heat at -15 °C (for example 36,000 BTU/h for the ZE-536M425).
For the “Zephyr 22” (R-410A): up to 82 ft per unit (2 zones) or 66 ft (3 to 5 zones), and 164 to 262 ft in total. For R-454B, we get the limits from TTI for your project.
The R-410A sheet announces 10 years on parts; for R-454B, we put the warranty on the quote. For a heat pump bought new on or after October 5, 2026, Quebec law adds a 6-year warranty of good working order, counted from delivery.
ENERGY STAR lists every Zephyr multi-zone as “not connected”, and TTI publishes no Wi-Fi option.
