The rules that matter
- ENERGY STAR certified heat pump; $120 per 1,000 BTU/h at -8 °C if it is also Cold Climate.
- Outdoor unit of at least 12,000 BTU/h: the 9,000 BTU is not eligible.
- Grant capped at 100 % of the cost before taxes.
- Claim must be filed within 9 months of installation.

TCL warranty: what the documents say
TCL ties the Ultimate 25’s 10-year warranty to registration within 60 days of installation.
Without registration, TCL’s spec sheet states 5 years on parts and 7 years on the compressor. TCL offers an online registration form (register.tcl.com).
