GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-XWZXZG External Connection Kit for Cassettes and Ducted Units

Twin of the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE kit, the GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-XWZXZG external connection kit is used to connect an external device to the board of an AIRSTAGE non-wall indoor unit: cassette, ducted unit, suspended ceiling unit or air handler. Only the name has changed: Fujitsu General Limited became GENERAL Inc. on January 1, 2026, and the Fujitsu brand is being phased out step by step, while the factories and the numbers stay identical. It is the original part the manufacturer lists for this use, and it files the kit under its “external connect kits for indoor units”. The same part under the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE brand sits next to the GENERAL in our catalogue.

The harness made for cassettes and ducted units

From one type of unit to the next, the manufacturer changes the external connection harness. On a wall-mounted or floor unit, you install the UTY-XWZX or the UTY-XWZXZ5; on a non-wall unit of the R-32 H series, the UTY-XWZXZG is the one that applies. Whether in a commercial space or in a house fitted with a ceiling cassette, its job is to link the unit with an external contact, a timer or a controller.
