The Hitachi C1STAT01 adapter lets you control an airHome indoor unit with a 5-wire wall thermostat instead of the wireless remote. It belongs to Hitachi’s family of thermostat adapters, along with the C3STAT01 and C4STAT01.
A fixed control for the wall-mounted heat pump
When a heat pump replaces electric baseboards, many occupants still look for the thermostat on the wall. With this adapter, the airHome unit is set from a fixed thermostat that everyone can see. It is also a simple answer in rental units, where the remote often goes missing.
