The SPX-URFG1 wired remote control, sold as the airPoint Room H700, is Hitachi's wall control for the airHome line. The manufacturer's submittal sheets list it among the accessories for airHome 400, 600 and 800 wall units and for multi-zone units: wall-mounted units, floor consoles, ducted units and mini-cassettes.
A fixed, programmable control
The airHome technical guide describes its settings: mode, fan speed, louvre direction, schedule timer by mode, key lock, filter and FrostWash cycle reminders, and Powerful and Eco functions depending on the unit. Hitachi also presents it with an alarm capability tied to R-32 leak detection.
Controlling several units
Paired with the SPX-DST1 distributor, a single control manages several indoor units. One distributor can be linked to three other distributors, for a maximum of 13 indoor units under one wall control, according to Hitachi.
