The SPX-WFA01 Wi-Fi adapter links a Hitachi airHome heat pump to the airCloud Go app. It plugs into the indoor unit, with no separate power supply, and connects it to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
Control your heat pump from anywhere
With airCloud Go, you turn the unit on, set the temperature, the mode, the louvres and the fan. The Smart-Fence feature ties operation to your location when you leave home and come back. The app also starts FrostWash cleaning and accepts voice control through Google Home or Alexa. The energy expense estimator is only offered on certain models.

Which units?
Hitachi includes it as standard with the airHome 600 and 800 wall units and offers it as an option on the airHome 400 and on multi-zone units: wall-mounted, console, ducted and mini-cassette. On ducted and mini-cassette units, the SPX-WFG58CM extension cable is also available.

Per Hitachi, the adapter is included with the airHome 600 and 800. The airHome 400 offers it as an option.
Do I need Internet?
You need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Bluetooth and 3G or 4G networks are not supported.
What can I do with the app?
Turn on, set temperature, mode, louvers and fan speed, set up Smart-Fence, run FrostWash and use voice control with Google Home or Alexa.
