A familiar thermostat on a Hitachi heat pump
Many clients want to keep their wall thermostat, sometimes a smart thermostat already tied into their connected home. With this adapter, the Hitachi heat pump is controlled from that thermostat instead of its remote. Each adapter connects to a single indoor unit: plan one per unit.
C3STAT01 or C4STAT01?
- C3STAT01: connection of a 5-wire 24 V thermostat.
- C4STAT01: 5-wire thermostat, plus Wi-Fi (Airzone Cloud app) and an RS485 port in BACnet MS/TP or Modbus RTU for a building management system.
Before ordering
Make sure your thermostat is a 5-wire 24 V model and send us the model number of the indoor unit: we confirm compatibility with Hitachi before ordering. The wiring is done with the power off, by a technician, followed by a test of each mode.
