Quick facts
Fantech RVF series fans mount on the building's exterior wall, at the end of the exhaust duct. Fantech presents them as medium- to high-flow fans that exhaust stale, humid or odour-laden air from indoor rooms, while keeping the motor noise outside.
Exhaust you can barely hear
With a regular ceiling fan, the motor runs above your head. With the RVF, it is outside: in the room, all you hear is the air passing through the grille. It is a good solution for a bathroom next to a bedroom, a laundry room, a utility room or a residential garage.
Available models
- 4 in: standard or XL
- 6 in: standard or XL
- 8 in: XL
- 10 in: standard or XL
The XL version offers higher airflow for the same diameter.
What Fantech provides
Galvanized steel housing painted RAL 9016 to limit corrosion, rubber gasket for connecting the duct, automatic-reset thermal motor protection and a 5-year warranty. The unit is light and compact. The electrical connection must be made by qualified personnel; a timer or wall control lets it run only when needed.

Frequently asked questions
Why put the fan outside?
Because the motor noise stays outdoors. In the bathroom you only hear air moving through the grille.
Standard or XL?
The XL version moves more air for the same size: useful for a long duct or a large room. Send us the layout and we pick the model.
How is it controlled?
With a switch, a wall timer or a speed control in the room.
Can you install it?
Yes. Our technicians drill the wall, run the duct and mount the fan, everywhere in Greater Montréal.
