A good control runs the fan when it is useful. This collection brings together Fantech exhaust fans and the wall controls that run an air exchanger or a bathroom fan.

Fans and controls available

  • Fantech FG inline fans: FG4 to FG12XL, in 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 in, standard or XL, installed in the duct.
  • Fantech RVF fans: RVF4, RVF4XL, RVF6, RVF6XL, RVF8XL, RVF10 and RVF10XL, mounted on the exterior wall to keep motor noise outside.
  • Air exchanger controls: Eco-Touch (4-wire), Eco-Touch Auto IAQ, Eco-Feel Auto IAQ, EDF3 multi-function and EDF8 with display.
  • Mechanical dehumidistats: MDEH1 with dial and MDEH2 with indicator light, which make the exchanger ventilate when humidity rises above the setpoint.
  • Timers: RTS2, RTS3, RTS5 and wireless RTSW for exchanger high speed; bathroom fan timer in 30 min or 10-20-30-60 min.
  • 120 V speed control: 3 A or 5 A, for an exhaust or inline fan.

Choosing the right one

Fantech controls are designed for specific air exchangers: read the brand and model on the unit’s nameplate. If the bathroom is tied to the exchanger, take an RTS timer rather than a fan timer. For a speed control, read the fan’s current on its nameplate and pick an equal or higher rating; also confirm the motor accepts speed control.
