The LG PMBL5620 branch Y is an original copper fitting for Multi F MAX systems. It splits the main refrigerant line into two branches, so two areas of a building can be served by a single outdoor unit. LG Canada presents it as the Y used to connect Multi F MAX indoor units.
A well-distributed piping layout
In a large house or a commercial space, the rooms to be served are often far from one another. The Y splits the line coming from the outdoor unit to feed two points, for example two distribution boxes on different floors. The kit includes the 3/4 in gas branch and the 3/8 in liquid branch.

The right Y for your unit
For R-32 Multi F MAX outdoor units, such as the KUMXB481A, LG specifies a different Y, the ARBLN03321. Note your outdoor unit’s model before ordering: we confirm the part. Brazing is done under dry nitrogen by a qualified refrigeration technician.

What to know before installing
- For recent R-32 Multi F MAX outdoor units, LG specifies a different Y-branch (ARBLN03321): check your outdoor unit model.
- Install the Y horizontally or vertically as the LG manual shows, never at a random angle.
- Braze with a light flow of dry nitrogen to keep the inside of the tubes clean.
- Work on a refrigerant circuit is reserved for a qualified refrigeration technician.

Does this Y fit my Multi F MAX?
LG lists it for Multi F MAX systems. For R-32 Multi F MAX outdoor units such as the KUMXB481A, LG specifies the ARBLN03321 Y-branch instead. Send us your unit model and we confirm the right part.
Why a genuine Y instead of a copper tee?
LG’s Y is designed to share refrigerant flow between two branches; the equipment manual calls for it at that point in the piping.
Is the insulation included?
LG describes copper fittings covered with polyolefin foam. The rest of the piping is insulated on site.
Can you install it?
